Welcome to FLITZERLAND III

After a rainy night and a good breakfast, we started the engines for the GT route (the Forza riders already set off for the passes at 7.45 a.m. :-). We set off toward Domodossola and Fiesch for the first stop in a light drizzle.

There we had some food and a look at the dwindling Aletsch glacier. (Unfortunately) impressive. We then drove through picturesque roads amid nature before making our way to the Furka Pass and Grimsel Pass. The Furka Pass was actually not planned; we mistook it for the Grimsel because of the sheer driving pleasure;-)))) it was still beautiful, as the drone shots show...

So it was down again and on the other side to the Grimsel Pass. As the day progressed, the traffic also increased, so after the Grimsel Pass, we had to ride in a (non-) comfortable convoy.

Along Lake Lungern and then Lake Sarnen, we arrived on time at the Art Nouveau Hotel Pax Montana in Flüehli-Ranft, where we were greeted by a double rainbow.

Presumably, one of the few Swiss saints, Brother Klaus, had a hand in it🙌 Either way, we enjoyed our stay very much. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the serving daughter, who said her husband also had an old car in the garage. When she asked him what kind of model, he answered unsuspectingly: Lancia Stratos with road registration! Of course, our imagination immediately ran away with us - but not with her ;-)
