Goodwood Revival 23
The Revival meeting is an action-packed classic car festival held at the Goodwood Motor Circuit in the South of the UK. The three-day motor event has been held at the circuit since 1998 and celebrates the old racing times during the circuit's original period from 1948 to 1966 and is an immersive celebration of iconic cars and fashion. At Revival, most people dress in period clothes from the 40s - 60s. It is the only historic motor race meeting in the UK to be staged entirely in a period theme which recreates the 1950s and 1960s era of motorsport. This year the organisers geared up to celebrate its 25th anniversary with celebrations of Carroll Shelby, 75 years of Lotus and Sir Jackie Stewart. Tickets were completely sold out for all three days.
Classic Motor Racing
This year's festival celebrated once more the glory days of vintage motor racing and featured classic races such as the Tourist Trophy for sports cars and the Glover Trophy for Grand Prix cars. Not only cars raced on the 3.8-kilometre long circuit but also classic motorcycles which competed during the Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy.
Have a look and see you there next year again 🏁
