Rétromobile Paris 2023 - The trade fair where the crème de la crème of classic cars pays their respects

Bonjour Paris! The 47th edition of Rétromobile opened its doors from February 1 to 5, 2023 - it is THE fair for enthusiasts. At the Paris Expo at the Porte de Versailles, enthusiasts had the perfect start to a new year full of automotive highlights.

Founded in 1976, this Paris fair invites more than 100,000 visitors yearly to rendez-vous. It is the second-largest fair of its kind in Europe. High-profile auctions flank the Rétromobile, where the world's best automotive memorabilia and classics are auctioned.

More than 1,100 vehicles on display, 620 exhibitors, 120 clubs, and 60 artists gathered in the world's most extensive ephemeral "art gallery" dedicated to the automobile. Pre-war classics, legendary racing cars, art, classic cars, and more or less everything a lover's heart could desire.

The world's most famous endurance race, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, kicked off its centennial celebrations this year at the Porte de Versailles. Many iconic cars were on display at the show in conjunction.

Fiskens oozed glamour with its booth, and the Hall Of Fame at the show included the all-time favorite from the movie "Le Mans" - the Gulf-look Porsche 917K, the secret protagonist in the film, alongside Steve McQueen.

Walking through the fair, you are transported to another time. La Belle Époque is clearly noticeable and also culinary. But do not forget that you are in France. Oysters, champagne, steak frites, and many other delicacies for all gourmands.
