Welcome to FLITZERLAND III
While the Forza group set off at 7.45 a.m., the second group decided not to start until 10 a.m., keeping with the GT motto (GT for leisurely). The Ferraris, Maseratis, Jaguars, BMWs, and Porsches all started straight away, despite or perhaps because of the cool, healthy alpine air, and the third day of driving was opened. Stop, wrong. We got into a marathon after a few kilometers, which had to be bypassed on the smallest of slow lanes. After that, it was a fast ride back over the Grimsel Pass and Furka, where lunch was already waiting for us. We did not miss a short stop to let the drone fly again before we were welcomed with a traditional Älpler lunch of cold cuts, cheese, and soup in the Furkablick restaurant renovated by Rem Kohlhass.
Freshly fortified, we continued on the last of our stages to Casa Caminada via Flims / Laax to Tusis. A dreamlike hamlet that framed a worthy conclusion with great food and enthusiastic (rider) conversations. At six, we (unfortunately) left, and part of the Flitzer crew continued for another week of driving and cultural fun in the Dolomites and Tyrol.
Three days and 1000 kilometres later a great weekend ended, and we would like to thank the organizer Flitzerclub Berlin aka Dirk Rumpf, who is already looking forward to FLITZERLAND IV.
